Questions worth answering up front.

If yours isn't here, it's faster to just call.

How fast can you respond to a storm-damaged or fallen tree?

Storm and hazard calls come first. Most of the time we can get someone out the same day, and often within a couple hours if a tree is on a structure, a driveway, or a power line. Call the number above — Kerry answers his own phone.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — The Tree Climber LLC carries liability coverage for every job, and we'll gladly provide proof of insurance before work starts. Ask up front; any tree company working near your home or power lines should be able to show you this.

Do you offer free estimates?

Every quote is free, with no obligation. For most jobs Kerry can give you a solid estimate from photos or a quick visit — for anything complicated (big trees near structures, tight access, storm damage) he'll walk the property with you first.

What happens to the wood and debris after a removal?

Standard cleanup — including chipping brush and hauling away logs and debris — is included in every removal quote. If you'd like the wood left on-site for firewood, just say so and we'll stack it instead of hauling it off.

Can you get equipment onto steep or hard-to-reach mountain lots?

That's the specialty, honestly. A lot of properties around Roan Mountain, Mountain City, and Erwin sit on grades or have creek crossings that rule out a bucket truck. Kerry climbs and rigs by hand for exactly those situations, so tough access usually isn't a reason to turn a job down.

Do you grind stumps, or just remove trees?

Both — stump grinding is available as its own service or bundled with a removal. Grinding gets the stump down below grade so you can reseed, landscape, or just stop mowing around it.

What towns do you actually service?

Based out of Hampton, and regularly working Johnson City, Elizabethton, Roan Mountain, Mountain City, Bristol, Erwin, Jonesborough, and Kingsport. If you're near that circle and not listed, call anyway — it's likely still in range.
